What makes this experience unique?
The story of Paradise Cave is relatively recent compared with many other caves in the region. In 2005, local residents discovered its entrance deep in the forest. Later surveys by the British Cave Research Association revealed a passage stretching more than 31 km through the limestone mountains of Phong Nha – Kẻ Bàng National Park, with unusually large and dry chambers inside. Phong Nha Cave, however, has been known to local communities for much longer because a river flows directly into the cave. During wartime, this river cave also served as a hidden shelter and logistical point along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Together, these two caves carry different layers of history—one tied to a relatively recent discovery, the other connected to the wartime past of the region.

Next, we will explore Phong Nha Cave - famous not only for its natural beauty but also as an important historical site of the Ho Chi Minh Trail. This area used to be a secret hideout and hospital during the war, with traces of bombs still existing. - 2🕐 09:00 – 12:00: Explore Paradise Cave3hUpon arrival, guests travel by electric car 1.6 km through the cool primeval forest, then climb up to the cave entrance - where there is a spectacular view of the majestic mountain forest. Stepping inside, visitors will admire the sparkling stalactites, unique-shaped rock formations, and a mystical space likened to a "palace in the heart of the earth", providing an unforgettable experience amidst the beauty of natural wonders.
- 3🕐 12:00 - 13:30: Lunch at Phong Nha village1h30mAfter the tour, guests enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant in Phong Nha village. The restaurant serves vegetarian dishes upon request, and guests can inform in advance if there are any dietary restrictions to be served attentively.
- 4🕐 13:30 – 15:30: Visit Phong Nha Cave2hContinuing the journey, you will depart to Phong Nha Cave and board a traditional dragon boat downstream the Son River for about 25 minutes to enter the cave. Inside, visitors will walk to explore the 300-meter cave famous for its surreal stalactite system with many special shapes such as Lion Cave, Fairy Cave, Dynasty Palace, and Buddha Cave. After the visit, the boat will take you back to the pier.
- 516:00 – 17:00: Return and end the journey1hAt the end of the tour, the car will take you back to Dong Hoi or Phong Nha village. The journey concludes with unforgettable impressions of the majestic beauty of the two most famous caves in Quang Binh.
