She knows the small paths running through terraced fields and the streams that cut across the landscape. While walking, she talks about daily life—when the rice planting season begins, why terraces are built to hold water, and how people here walk these trails every day between home, fields, and the local market. For the person joining the trek, the experience feels less like exploring a trail and more like spending a day walking alongside someone who has followed these same paths since childhood.

- 1Welcome guests - Departure & cultural introduction.Guests are picked up at the meeting point and start walking with a local H'Mong guide, who was born and raised in the villages you will visit. The guide introduces the culture, customs, and daily life of the ethnic community in the area.
- 2Discover the less-known paths - Real-life experience.The journey passes through peaceful terraced fields, hidden paths, and lesser-known sightseeing spots. Visitors have the opportunity to visit real local homes, observe traditional handicrafts, and directly learn about how families live, creating authentic cultural connections.
- 3Rest & take photos - Full experience.Small groups or private tours allow guests to relax, interact deeply with the guide and the surrounding environment. The journey ends with ideal stops to capture stunning photos, capturing the magnificent beauty of Muong Hoa Valley and the terraced fields.
What You Need to Know
Terms & Conditions
- Age & health: 12–60 years old, in good health, suitable for long-distance trekking.
- Clothing & equipment: trekking shoes/sports shoes, light clothing, seasonal jacket/raincoat, personal drinking water.
- Skills & experience: no experience required, but stamina is required to walk through mountainous terrain and terraced fields.
- Safety & companionship: local guides and support staff are available; follow safety instructions when moving.
- Special note: the trail can be slippery after rain; not applicable for people with heart disease, blood pressure or pregnant women.
Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation before 48 hours (2 days).
- Cancellation after 48 hours (2 days): 100% fee charged.
Child Policy
- Under 12 years old: not recommended to participate.
- 12–15 years old: must be accompanied by an adult and sign a safety commitment.
- 15 years old and above: participate as an adult.
