In this village, bamboo has been part of daily life for a long time. Older residents often say that many household items used to be made from bamboo—house frames, baskets for carrying rice, and back baskets used when going into the forest. The path through the bamboo grove is simply the route people take to reach their fields or cut bamboo for repairs and tools. When walking with them, the pace is slow. Sometimes they stop to look at the rice fields, talk about the farming season, or point out older bamboo that can still be used. There is no staged activity. It mostly feels like walking through the same places where villagers work and live, while hearing small stories about how their lives remain connected to the fields, the forest, and the village.
