What you'll get to experience with us
The cellophane paper lantern workshop gives you the opportunity to create colorful lanterns by hand - a handmade product associated with childhood and traditional festivals in Vietnam. Under the guidance of local artisans, you will learn how to cut and assemble bamboo frames, stretch colored paper, and decorate in your own style. Beyond a creative activity, the workshop also helps you understand the cultural significance of lanterns in the Mid-Autumn Festival, festivals, and the spirit of unity among the Vietnamese people.

- 1Giới thiệu về lồng đèn truyền thống Việt Nam30mParticipants are guided by the instructor to share about the origin and meaning of the glass lantern in Vietnamese culture - a symbol of light, joy, and unity.
- 2Học về vật liệu & kỹ thuật làm lồng đèn15mStudents familiarize themselves with traditional materials such as bamboo frames, tracing paper, glue, steel wire, and safety cutting and sticking tools. The instructor illustrates how to assemble the frame, wrap it with tracing paper, and attach the handle.
- 3Thực hành làm lồng đèn & trang trí sáng tạo1hParticipants are divided into groups or individuals to create their own paper lanterns - they can choose star, koi fish, moon, or create their own patterns.
- 4Hoàn thiện & trưng bày sản phẩm15mWhen completed, the lanterns are displayed and lit up for a trial – creating a sparkling and colorful space. Participants can take the product home as a souvenir or use it for festivals and community events.
What You Need to Know
Terms & Conditions
- No age limit
- Lightweight and comfortable clothing. Wear clothes that are easy to move in and do not worry about getting stained when decorating.
- No prior skills or experience required. Detailed guidance provided by the workshop supervisor
- Safety policy & companionship: Children need adults to accompany and support them when participating in decoration. Follow the instructor's instructions when using coloring and tools
- Additional notes / special restrictions: Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to ensure full preparation of equipment
Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the workshop start time
- Cancellation after the specified time or non-participation: Non-refundable
Child Policy
- Children are allowed to participate regardless of age
- Young children need adults to accompany them throughout the learning process
