What makes this experience unique?
This journey offers a closer look at highland life connected to forests and indigenous knowledge, through activities such as forest walks, stream bathing, cooking in nature, and staying at a homestay with local families. A key part of the experience is visiting a forest garden of Ngoc Linh ginseng, a rare medicinal plant that grows naturally under the canopy of Ngọc Linh Mountain. For generations, the Xơ Đăng community in this region has preserved knowledge of identifying and caring for the plant as part of their traditional practices. Growing ginseng under forest cover today also helps protect natural forests, as the plant can only thrive in a well-preserved ecosystem. Planting a ginseng tree and learning about its story highlights the connection between local culture, livelihoods, and forest conservation.
What you'll get to experience with us
